Homer First UMC embraces the United Methodist belief that all churches should practice "Open Hearts, Open Doors, Open Minds".
Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our hearts to those who worship with us, and all in our community and in our world. Our vision is to Grow, Respond, Be a Neighborhood.
We welcome you to join us to explore the opportunities that lie before us to reach out to the world in love.
Rev. Dr. Sung Jun Park comes to us from the Korean Methodist Church, where he has served various churches for more than 10 years prior to moving to Homer. He completed his Doctoral Degree in Church Leadership Excellence at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.
He is married to Seong Ae and together they have four children; Ginny, Sunny, Siwon, and Siwoo.
Since the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak, Homer First United Methodist Church carefully decided that we need to suspend
